Command Economy
A Command economy is when the government makes all of the decisions, a Command economy is not as popular as it used to be. The system is very heavily government controlled. There are many advantages and disadvantages in a command economy. A major advantage for this system is there is little poverty to stress about. Everybody is equal they get the same money, accommodation, education and hospitals and health facilities. There Is very little unemployment as the government runs everything they chose who stays and who doesn’t. All goods and services are made so that they satisfy the needs and wants of the citizens. A key disadvantage in this system is that there is no incentive to work hard for money. Everybody gets paid the exact same amount. The consumers have little variety of goods and services due to the governments power, however the Government listens to and tries to accommodate the general needs and wants of the community. Financial decision by a company take longer because they need government approval. There are very few examples of a command system but Cuba is a very heavily command economy based country.
